Gourmet Touring's local knowledge. ‘Decouverte’ itineraries are akin to having a local with you
who knows the best places to go, yet without the intrusion of a third party.

The excitement starts two weeks before you even arrive when you receive your touring guidebook
in the post. It details your itinerary, suggests routes for each day and describes a host of other
possible places to visit that are all aligned with your own interests. No two GT guidebooks are ever the same.

On arrival to Bordeaux you will be met and introduced to your car and your ‘GT’ navigation system. which in conjunction with your guidebook enables you to find local points of interest and avoid the crowds. On arriving at your accommodation a bottle of chilled Champagne will await you.

A lunch table at an excellent local restaurant will be booked and pre-paid for you one day as will
be a gastronomic evening meal at a Michelin starred restaurant. After this unforgettable meal you
can opt to be chauffeured back to your accommodation.

To introduce you to Bordeaux's wines and heighten your enjoyment of them whilst you are here, a
two hour wine class in St Emilion is included in this itinerary.

No visit to the Bordeaux region would be complete without a tour and tasting at some of its
vineyards. Tell us your tastes in wines and we shall organise visits to appropriate châteaux.

To make your stay that bit extra special consider upgrading to a convertible or if you are staying
