Gourmet Touring's ‘Day trip’ itineraries have been specifically developed for groups either staying in their own accommodation, some distance form Bordeaux or closer to Bordeaux and without their own transport.

If you have a holiday planned in the Dordogne, the north side of the Gironde or near to Cognac, don’t miss out on the opportunity of visiting the Bordeaux region for at least one day.

Entre-deux-Mers has beautiful countryside, dotted with great value family-run vineyards and tasty little restaurants. St Emilion, famed for its wines, has grand châteaux well worth a visit and an enchanting town that is a ‘must see’. The Médoc is equally well famed for its wines while the coastal region has the biggest sand dune in Europe and has some of the freshest imaginable seafood you could contemplate devouring. Specify what your group would most like to see or do and we shall propose a day that will be the highlight of your holiday.
